Delicious
Another bookmark webpage. I think this could be a useful way of storing bookmarks. And it's good to see the pages others have bookmarked - can save a bit of time.
iGoogle
I think the this page is really good. It's so convenient to be able to customise and add my own bookmarks to this page. I also like the way pages can be displayed giving you information straight away.

Google Scholar and Google Book Search
I use Google Scholar all the time when I'm looking for scholarly publications for clients. I used it yesterday when a PhD student wanted to know what a journal abbreviation stood for. It was a quick and convenient way to get the answer. In regards to Google Book Search - it looks ok but I can't think of a situation where I would use it. The jury is still out on this one.

Google Docs
I don't think the walls of the Microsoft Empire are about to fall down any time soon. But this is an interesting development. I have discussed the issues of sharing documents with academic staff in the past so this is one of the '23 Things' I will come back to and investigate further.
Google Maps
I think Google Maps is a really handy tool to have when you want to have a look at an overseas location or even your own home. It's pretty cool. It's also handy with finding directions ;-)

Facebook and Myspace
I already had a Facebook account before I started 23 things. The main reason I created it was so I could view some of my friends Facebook sites and have a look at their pictures. I prefer Facebook to Myspace mainly because I'm quite familiar with Facebook now ;-) I can't see much benefit for libraries from these sites at the moment. I think people use them to socialize with their friends and not as a source of information to help them with their studies - I think advertising library services in these forums could be counter productive.
